The Vegetable Garden Begins

Here are pictures of the garden from the beginning of June, July and August. I should have done this as one of the first posts so you could see how the whole garden looked. I'm going to try to make each set of images a panorama so they are easier to view but this is what I have for now.

Bountiful Harvest

We just harvested 23 pea pods from the garden. That puts the total at over 40. Lately it seems like everything is in abundance. Here is a picture of the snow peas.

This is a picture of our second eggplant, some chili peppers, cucumbers, snow peas, the tomatoes that we managed to salvage from the garden and a chopped up banana pepper.

Here is a color coded diagram of my vegetable garden. It is not to scale, its only to give you an idea of how the garden is organized. I tried to depict how the pumpkin patch is taking over the garden. It has grown in between the corn rows and all the way over to the squash, zucchini and cucumber mounds on the left side. On the right side it is passing the row of snow peas. Unfortunately I forgot to include Jalapenos in the list. They are to the left of the Chili peppers.

I'm currently updating the look of the site and remembering how to use html. Once everything is up and running properly I will begin posting daily updates on the garden.
